St. Vincent de Paul Manna Givers

Twice per year the Baton Rouge Chapter cook and serve an evening meal at one of the three St. Vincent de Paul / Bishop Ott shelter location for homeless men, women and children.  

Baton Rouge Chapter of The Links, Inc. Bring a Taste of Mardi Gras to St Vincent De Paul

On Wednesday, February 23rd, The baton Rouge Chapter of the Links Inc, used its regular visit to the Center’s Women and Children’s Shelter as an opportunity to bring Mardi Gras and a meal to the residents.. St Vincent De Paul is a standing program of the Links and the residents enjoyed a traditional Mardi Gras meal, beads and decorations with the Links. The Links’ National program “Manna Givers” is designed to provide service to the needy.  The program’s co chairs are Marilyn Seibert and Barbara Wells.
